I changed one of my shepherds over to Royal Canin a month ago PDF Print E-mail

I changed one of my shepherds over to Royal Canin a month ago. This boy failed his hip x-rays (by 1mm), and was sometimes quit sore in the hip / back area. When he was allowed to run free in my big yard, he would usually just lay around. Since the change-over, he has improved dramatically. When he's in the yard, he runs around happily, and on his walks, there is no sign of any lameness in his rear end. Coat is beautiful and shiny, and his overall appearance is great!! I also intend having him re-presented for his hip x-rays in mid-January, so it will be very interesting to see if the food has made enough of a difference to change his score.

I have now changed all my dogs over to Royal Canin, and all my puppy buyers have also indicated they will continue feeding it, so I am pretty excited! Please bear in mind that I was quite happy with the food I was feeding my dogs - I think that probably adds some weight to the quality of Royal Canin.

Thank you and your research PDF Print E-mail

Thank you and your research for developing superior foods. I have 3 cats and 3 dogs.  All are on some form of the Royal Canin brand.  I am especially thrilled with the German Shepherd product.  I have a shepherd who switched over when it first came out in 2003/2004.  She was 11 at the time and was really limping and stiff (which is common in a german shepherd)  Now she is approaching 14 and prances around like a puppy.  She totally changed after about a couple of months of eating the German Shepherd 24 product .  I also must let you know that I also have a Great Pyrenees who is on the Giant Adult and my Shepherd actually has no problem at 14 yrs keeping up!
